Background

I build and stabilise the systems revenue and operations teams depend on: CRM workflows, booking and payment integrations, cross-system data reconciliation, monitoring, and AI-assisted automation.

That sits on a DevOps foundation. Before this I spent three and a half years on CI/CD, artifact management, security controls, data movement and observability for a large US retailer, which is where the habits around testing, least privilege and measuring what you change came from.

The through line is translating ambiguous operating problems into tested workflows, documented controls, and systems that keep working when nobody is watching them.

How I work

• Map the workflow before touching it. The expensive failure is rarely where people think it is.
• Prefer the simplest reliable change. Clever solutions have to be maintained by someone at 2am.
• Put a human approval gate in front of anything that writes to a live system.
• Measure it afterwards, or the change was a guess.
